On August 27, 2010, E-Verify announced that it will expand the photo matching process to include US passports in September 2010 and driver’s license information in 2011 on a trial basis. The photo matching process is not yet mandatory for employers who are using E-Verify through a web services interface. More on this can be seen at the ICE website www.ice.gov
