12. Job Related Overview – Introduce the personal work and goals, initiate them on tools and job related specifics. |
13.Team/ Function Related Overview - Describe the roles of the team, its responsibilities and goals. |
14. Organization Related Overview – Provide an overview of the company vision and mission, its culture and ethos. Describe the organization structure and the key people in the company. Connect the employee, and the role to its contribution to the organizational goal. |
15. An office/ campus tour. |
16.Take the new hire around office facilities such as cafeteria, HR area, support desk, gyms, lounges. |
17.Provide parking access, and discuss transportation options. |
18.Get them started. |
19.Show them the work station, and provide contacts for additional support such as services or office supplies. |
20.Provide necessary access such as access card, employee cards. |
21.Setup email, voicemail and computer. |
22.Start the employee on work, at least in part. |
23.Provide necessary information about safety and emergency guidelines. |
24.A lunch out with the manager/buddy/skip level manager. |
25.Review the day with the manager before end of day and let the employee know what’s in store the next day. |
